Jessadi Lower Basic School Region 5 Alomina Dankunku District Central River Division
Dear Sir/Madam:
The staff, pupils and the entire community of Jessadi Lower Basic School would like to seek for your support to improve the condition of the school. This school was established in September 1975 and presently with a role of (381 pupils) (104 boys) and (277 girls). The children in this school are 7 to 13 years old. The school is operating on double shift teaching because we have (eight classes) while the number of rooms available is only six. This school is about (275 km) form Banjul, and off the highway to the school, is (17 km). It can take you the whole day to reach us due to the condition of the road, and this is why we seldom have assistance from organizations or philanthropic individuals. Sir/Madam, we are therefore looking for support from anywhere, anybody to improve teaching and learning as well as the livelihood of both the pupils and the teachers. The photos of the children, the Parents’ Teachers’ Association executive committee members the teachers and the school compound shall be attached to see by yourself, and also, most importantly, the list of materials on things we urgently need for the school. The district authority, the community leader and the school authority shall append their official stamp on this documents for authentication. We really need your support and hope you shall come forward to give a helping hand. Our contact person is G’ebriel Leigh in America. Or the headmaster 9933144 (5580211 or 5580212).
Yours Sincerely,
Nuha Sanuel – Headmaster
